Dennis Warmerdam has been playing hockey with great pleasure since he was four. Besides fun, he has also been through tough times. Due to a rare form of cancer, his hockey career was almost over. Despite everything, he kept hope and returned to Pinoké stronger than ever. The fanatical attacker now plays hockey at Bloemendaal.

He has worked hard for his place in the team. He scored 7 goals in 15 international matches. His tenacity and will to win have made him an inspiration to many.
