Renée van Laarhoven played for Kampong for years, but as a player of SCHC she really conquered a permanent place in the Dutch national team. The Nijmegen native leads the defense centrally in the back and has a great penalty corner at home. Renée represented the Orange at the last edition of the Champions Trophy, in 2018 in Changzhou, China. After that she always remained in the picture with the national coach. The 2022 World Cup in the Netherlands and Spain is the second tournament in her international career.
