Yibbi Jansen

Yibbi, daughter of former hockey goalkeeper and international Ronald Jansen, started playing hockey at the age of 7 at Den Bosch and went through the entire youth academy at the Oosterplas. At the age of 15 she already made her first minutes in Ladies 1. Despite winning the national title in her first full season (2015-2016), she exchanged Den Bosch for Oranje-Rood, where she manifested herself as a penalty corner specialist. In the summer of 2019, Yibbi made the switch to SCHC - partly because of her study plans. She played her first international match for the Orange in January 2018 against the United States and only needed seven minutes for her first international goal. She is now running one-on-two in Orange, partly due to her strong penalty corner.
